Under normal circumstances it really shouldn't be hard to install however the error message you're getting, " The cabinet file'Core.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.", is in all likelihood is due to a corrupted VMware *.exe installer package executable and I have already provided you hyperlinks for downloading it again in Re: Cannot install Workstation 9 on my 64 bit windows 8 pc and for MD5/SHA1 information in Re: Cannot install Workstation 9 on my 64 bit windows 8 pc as well as highlighting it in red and pointing a red arrow at it in the image in Re: Cannot install Workstation 9 on my 64 bit windows 8 pc and frankly if you can't figure it out from there then I'd suggest you Google how to do a MD5 or SHA1 check on a file! No offense intended however you need to take a look at the information sitting right in front of you as I've now provided the information in both written and picture form, so I'm not sure how much more you should expect to get from me at this point. Not sure why this is so difficult to install
